Find Your Flavor

Discovering your favorite roast is an adventure. Whether we've met at a market or you're trying my coffee for the first time, here are some tips to guide you on your way.

  • For a bold start, explore my dark roasts from four world regions. Try the Italian Traditional Blend which is made from Vietnamese arabica & robusta coffee beans. Also popular is India Monsooned Malabar for a unique, rich taste. Costa Rica for something smoother to pick you up.

  • If you prefer mild and mellow, try coffees from Central and South America. These offer sweeter, chocolatey, or nutty flavors. Haiti Blue is an organic favorite in this category. Same notes as a Jamaican Blue Mountain I previously carried, but grown in Haiti for a more reasonable price, helping one of the poorest countries in the world. These farms are assisted by a local Northern Virginia importer that is helping to alleviate poverty through coffee, by empowering small family farms, instead of owning them.

  • In a bright and fruity mood? You’ll find your flavor in Africa. Sip roasts from Ethiopia and Kenya for hints of fresh citrus or cranberry.

  • El Salvador (Pacamara) is a local favorite, ethically and sustainably sourced from a farm in El Salvador, named Tierra Bendita Farm. They are a local family in Reston, VA who have owned the farm for multiple generations.

  • For a game-changing experience, use the Japanese cold method. Brew with pure, cold water and leave it in the fridge for 24-48 hours. You’ll enjoy a lighter and brighter tasting iced coffee.

Find your favorite roast and enjoy it all season long.
